North Sands is a sheltered little cove just inside the mouth of the Salcombe estuary, tucked beneath the ruins of Fort Charles and a short stroll from South Sands. A favourite with families, paddleboarders and anyone wandering down to the water from Salcombe, it is one of South Devon's loveliest beaches.
