Alfriston Landscape
Alfriston is a village in the Cuckmere valley, on the South Downs Way. It's home to the Clergy House, the first building ever bought by the National Trust, and to St Andrew's church, known as the Cathedral of the Downs. This oil painting of the village and its countryside is by Brighton-based plein air painter Tony Parsons.
A lovely gift for anyone who knows Alfriston or walks the South Downs Way.
