Rottingdean Undercliff
The Undercliff Walk runs beneath the chalk cliffs from Brighton Marina to Saltdean, and Rottingdean sits roughly halfway along it: a village once home to Rudyard Kipling, with a seafront gap where walkers drop down to the sea wall. This panoramic oil painting is by Brighton-based plein air painter Tony Parsons, and its 80 x 30cm format follows the long line of cliff and promenade.
A lovely gift for anyone who walks the Undercliff or grew up in Rottingdean.
Image size: 80 x 30cm, with a 5cm white border. Unframed.
