Madeira Drive, with Volk's Electric Railway running along the beach and the Penny Lift climbing to Marine Parade. Magnus Volk opened his railway in 1883, and it's the oldest electric railway still operating in the world. This panoramic oil painting is by Brighton-based plein air painter Tony Parsons.

A lovely gift for railway enthusiasts and anyone who grew up in Brighton.
