East of Brighton, the chalk cliffs run unbroken from Saltdean to Peacehaven, where the Greenwich Meridian meets the English Channel. Brighton-based plein air painter Tony Parsons painted this stretch of coast in oils, a few miles from Woodingdean, where he grew up.
